In November 2007 there were no churches in the western district of Ethiopia. God lead a special leader to go and start churches there in December of that year. He planted three churches the first month! Three months later, there were 17 churches! Three months after that there were 52 churches! It was the beginning of another Church Planting Movement! In November of 2008 a vision tour of mission leaders (see video) from many countries around the world came to Metu, Ethiopia and saw first hand what God was doing in the west.

A good portion of the work that was done and is continuing in that part of Ethiopia can be attributed to the use of a new tool for getting God’s Word out to our world, The Proclaimer. The Proclaimer is a device that speaks God’s Word in any  language that is programmed into it. We are so thankful to the Faith Comes By Hearing group for providing the proclaimers we’ve used.
